There was a buzz going around the makeshift pressroom outside Team Orion 365's headquarters. The world's sports reporters had gathered amid rumours of a major new signing. When team manager Peter Marcelo stepped out with a new figure all journalists recognised but none could place, the anticipation heightened.
'I'd like to present our new signing... Salvatore Juradu!' said the clearly pleased manager.
Of course! Salvatore Juradu. Bronze medallist at the season 51 World Championships.
'We are thrilled such a successful rider agreed to join us while we are still in division 6. It is a real coup.' continued Marcelo.
Then the reporters questioned Juradu himself. He revealed his goal at his new team...
'I want to win something. For an allrounder, I have already got one of the biggest achievements out there - a World Championships medal. But I've never won a race. That is my main goal.'
In other news, the team recently celebrated its six month anniversary. 'We are pleased with our progression during this time and hope to continue on our upwards trajectory!' said Marcelo.
